Ice Trek Trains

Project Information

These assets are modeled after B&M’s Penguin Trek Coaster trains, showcased at IAAPA 2023. I had taken an extended break from Parkitect modding; about two years! During that time, I was not actively creating content, waiting for the right time to jump back in. This project was kindly requested seemingly out of nowhere. It served as the calling sign to come back, and to hopefully create more projects in the time to come. The fiberglass body itself was challenging to replicate, flowing edges are a 3D modeling concept I am still working on. Another detail that I spent time on was the dampening spring on the nose car of the train. Parkitect’s gameplay camera is angled quite steep, so when the train is perpendicular to the ground, the spring detail is pretty much invisible. For such a cool detail, it’s quite difficult to see, nonetheless I still enjoyed the challenges this project presented and also the potential milestone that it serves for me to come back and participate in the Parkitect modding community.
